High-Quality Nickel Anode for Enhanced Performance
Product Description
Nickel anode plates, in a broad sense, are the most widely used form of nickel anodes in the electroplating industry. They are soluble anodes mainly used to replenish nickel ions in the electroplating solution. Their application is not limited to "plate-shaped" forms; in high-performance fields, there are also various forms such as powder, mesh, rods, and pellets/spheres to meet different requirements.
Main features: High purity (nickel content ≥ 99.9%), good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. However, ordinary pure nickel plates tend to passivate during electroplating.
Core applications: Basic anode material for electroplating nickel, used in decorative and protective electroplating.
Key shortcomings: Ordinary electrolytic nickel plates tend to passivate when the anode current density exceeds 3 A/dm² in a nickel plating solution containing 0.2 to 0.3 mol/L, which affects production.

Application
Electrolytic metallurgy/refining has a high demand for nickel anodes. The nickel anodes provide nickel ions, which deposit high-purity nickel at the cathode. The nickel, dissolved in the electrolyte, has a purity of over 99.9%.
