A delegation of Russian customers visited Baoji Special Steel Titanium Industry, deepening cooperation in titanium tube materials and composite materials.
On the afternoon of September 7, 2023, a delegation of four members from an important Russian customer, accompanied by the Chinese regional representative, paid a visit to Baoji Special Steel Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. for on-site inspection and technical exchange. The vice general manager Luo and the foreign trade department team warmly received them and accompanied the customers to visit the titanium tube production workshop and the composite material workshop in depth.
During the visit, the customers expressed their admiration for the modern production scale of our company and highly praised the spacious and tidy production environment of the workshop. The delegation particularly stopped by the titanium tube pickling production line and the automated ultrasonic flaw detection equipment, and inquired in detail and had in-depth discussions with our technical staff on key aspects such as process control, corrosion protection standards, and non-destructive testing accuracy. Our company systematically introduced the ASTM B338, GOST standards and internal control process parameters implemented in titanium tube rolling, heat treatment and surface treatment. Both sides reached important consensus on improving product consistency and reliability.
In the composite material workshop, the customers showed great interest in various titanium/copper, steel/copper composite rods and semi-finished products on the display stand. We focused on showcasing the titanium-copper series products prepared by the extrusion and rolling method, which combine the corrosion resistance of titanium and the excellent conductivity of copper, and can be widely used in special power, chemical electrode and marine engineering fields. The customers fully affirmed our company's complete industrial chain layout from sponge titanium to finished processing, as well as the sufficient raw material strategic reserves and strict quality control system established to ensure delivery.
This visit concluded successfully in a positive and pragmatic atmosphere.
